Nepal Planning to Send Rocket to Moon

BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium and Observatory in Nepal is now working on a plan on launching a rocket from Nepal to Moon. In a seminar related to Astronomy and Space Science held on Monday by BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium & Observatory and, Science Museum Development Committee told us that work has begun for the establishment of Vedhshala (an Astronomical Observatory Center) in Nagarkot "If Nepal government invest only a million also, then we are capable of launching our rocket from Nepal to Moon. And this will also contribute to the overall development of astronomy", Prof Sanat Kumar Sharma, co-executive director of BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium and Observatory told.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also expressed his eagerness and hurry-ness to inspect Vedhshala in Nagarkot. Professor Dr. Shovakanta Lamichhane, the executive director of the Astronomy and Space Science told, "Our organization is are carrying out various researches and investigations and we are doing different works for its promotion.". Dr. Udaya Raj Khanal, one of the researchers added, "The government of Nepal should also need to invest for the further study in future too".
